Srinagar, March 24 (KNO) : Army on Saturday evening apptehended three persons from Narbal on Srinagar-Muzzafarabad road and later handed over to police. According to reports, 2 RR of Army apprehended three persons during a Naka at Narbal crossing. The apprehended youth were traveling in an alto car bearing registration number (JK13C-4328) and all three were residents of Pulwama. An eyewitness told KNO that army in Tata Sumos and Scorpios came into way of an Alto-800 car when it reached Narbal Crossing. The youth were identified as Shahid Ahmad Bhat, Ishfaq Ahmad Lone both residents of Lelhar while third one was identified as Reyees Hurra of Gulbagh. The sources said that Army had got inputs about suspicious movement on the road and were present in the area following it. The youth have been apprehended for questioning, the sources further said. Two months back three youth all residents of Pulwama were held on same road along with arms. Defence Spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia told KNO that they had an input about a vehicle coming from a district that was stopped and the three youth travelling in it were questioned and later handed over to police station Parimpora. A police officer told KNO that the trio were handed over to police station Parimpora by the army.(KNO)
